ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Movement Control Order (MCO) on consumer behaviour and purchasing decisions in Malaysia. This research was completed in October of 2020. As study participants, 96 male and female users were chosen. In this study, quantitative methods are used to collect data by distributing questionnaires online using the Google Form application. The data collected from the study participants were analysed using Jamovi software version 1.6.8. Based on the study’s findings, it is possible to conclude that respondents responded differently to both variables, namely consumer behaviour and purchase decision-making during the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the MCO. The researcher discovered that the independent variable, consumer behaviour, has a large and positive effect on the dependent variable, purchasing decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic situation. This study provides a clear picture of how changes in consumer behaviour affect consumer purchasing decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the MCO in Malaysia.

Organisational change management for inclusive growth at Microsoft: A case study
Kiran S. Pillai, Chok Nyen Vui

ABSTRACT
This conceptual paper discusses the leadership strategy at Microsoft which announced the pillars of the new strategic direction: customer obsession, diversity and inclusion, and the idea, captured in the phrase “one Microsoft,” that everyone needed to pull in the same direction. The current pressing challenges at Microsoft includes maintaining competitive advantage in a crowded and competitive market, attracting and retaining talented workforce, and choosing the right CSR projects, sustainability and supporting causes. The key directions needed were identified as to drive cultural change from top to bottom, and get the right team in the right place, and more influence to be given to individual managers, allowing them to more freely cooperate or innovate their products. In order to implement a few elements of this new strategic direction, a few popular change management models were evaluated, including Kotter’s eight steps for leading organisational change, the Kurt Lewin model methodology of the hard systems of change management, and methodology of the soft systems of change management. Considering the people centric nature of the implemented required, the author recommends using the Soft System Change Management Model in this case study.
